Apple will be just fine. I got over the Apple hype around the Macexpo when I was 15. 2 years after I have been infected with the Apple virus. So I wonder how immature it’d be to really lose a tear over news Number 5. Job’s ready for retirement. Give him a break. :)

The only thing that worries me is the Walmart thing :P

    RE: Walmart

You’re right – it’s LUDICROUS for a company to try and make money by taking advantage of one of the most-shopped places in the world in order to spread what seems to be their biggest cash cow. Must mean Apple is about to collapse. Oh, and it obviously can’t be run properly without Steve Jobs.

    Give me a break.

LOL! WTF is AAPL doing alienating everyone? FU app store devs, FU Firewire users, FU Macworld, FU shareholders!

Very funny post, John. I’m going out for some sushi.

Some of the Mac wives have gotten pissed and started their own campaigns. Tonya Engst, wife of TidBits guru Adam Engst, wrote a ‘letter from mom’ http://db.tidbits.com/article/9956, and Lesa King, wife of “Your Mac Life” host Shawn King, has started the Silent Keynote campaign http://silentkeynote.com/ We’ll see if they have any success — one can only hope.
