new app

We’re about to release a new app. It’s not an app that we’ve talked about yet and all I’m about to say about it at this point is that it’s a lot of fun.

We have a few slots open for beta testers for it. If you’re interested in being one of them, leave a comment below with your device UDID. Mention what kind of device you have (iPhone 3GS, iPod touch, etc) and why you feel you’d be a good beta tester.

I do software development for a living and have beta tested countless apps and understand the concept of the QA and beta process! So I guess that’s why I think I’d be a good beta tester.

Plus I like shiny new things to play with – like a digital crow.

    UDID: 0e419821742e571a869eace6ba4870936ec38128
    Device: iPhone 3G

I’ve tested a fair number of applications, both for the iPhone and Mac and I’m fairly good at spotting and reporting bugs, as well as any suggestions I may have.

I’m a fan of some of your products already, so I’m looking forward to seeing what you come out with next :)

    Thanks!

    iPhone 3G, 6d471e42745a2451d67b082eca63b226bfb9b391.

I’d be a great beta tester because I am an iPhone developer myself, but haven’t had the time to code an app lately, however I would have plenty of time to test one. Therefore I would be able to identify the cause of the problem as well as the actual problem.

Thankyou for you time and consideration.

I love taking new things for a whirl and fully exploring what they can do, especially on a mobile platform (a relic of the days when I spent ages exploring every single menu in my Nokia 3410) so I think I’d be quite a good beta tester!

When I find flaws and bugs in software I usually report them as soon as possible. I did also some beta-testing for various applications (and some iPhone-apps). I have no fear of alpha- or beta-software and know the problems that can possibly occur (like data loss). I would call myself a power user, usually trying to get the most use of the applications I use.

I have an iPhone 3GS, with this UDID:

    efd5832c2c6981f7e414188718464b8ee6e51859

I’ve been a software developer for about 10 years, and have often worn the QA hat in my various roles. I’m a new iPhone owner and love the device, and I’ve been a Mac user since the mid-90s. I like to push software to its limits and just have a play with it (who needs instructions?). If something’s off in your app, I reckon I’ll find it, and if you want some general thoughts, I’d be happy to give those, too.

    Hope to hear from ya.

I have one the latest iPod Touch (3G)with 32Gb RAM. I’m a sucker for mobile applications, especially portable tools that can make the difference in a tight spot. I think of my iPod as a swiss army knife packed with lots of thingies that help me make my day a lot more productive (and fun). I would give your app a run for what it’s worth. I am also portuguese, so I’ll be on the lookout for localization and support for other cultures/markets.

I think I’d be a great beta tester because I’m quite addicted to my 16GB iPhone 3G. I’m always using it, and always rotating out new fun apps to see which runs best and is the most fun. I dive all through apps I enjoy, and beta apps are no exception. I’ve been beta testing a few productivity apps for other companies, and I always give feedback. I enjoy the hell out of it. In addition, I’m learning to develop for Mac and iPhone, and love seeing new concepts and interfaces to inspire me.

In response to why I would be a good beta tester:

I personally believe that US Americans are unable to do so because some people out there in our nation don’t have iPhones and I believe that our education, like such as in South Africa and the Iraq everywhere like such as. And my education and like such as my location in Minnesota, The US would allow me to test your app in an arctic environment like such as we have had a couple inches of snow already in October. And we will be able to build up our future. For our children.

I guess this topic is more important compared to I thought. There seems to be incredibly little details on this subject, yet everyone is discussing it. I will certainly have to look into this further till I know enough regarding the subject matter.
