Camera+ Photo Contest of the Week: Monochrome
We have a number of super slick monochrome FXs in Camera+ to get creative with. Sometimes when you strip away the layers of colour, you push yourself more artistically, so this week it’s all about monochrome!
This week’s contest theme: Monochrome
Photos must be taken with the iPhone using the Camera+ app using a Monochrome FX (Cyanotype, Black & White, Sepia, Ansel, Antique, Silver Gelatin, Contessa & Pinhole) and shared on the Campl.us site using the Share button in the Lightbox.
Here are the contest details:
1. Follow @mostlylisa on Twitter.
2. Share your photos from Camera+ by selecting the picture and taping “Share” below your image, then selecting “Share on Twitter”. Make sure to include the hashtag #monochrome in your tweet so I can contact you if you win!
3. The contest ends Friday June 17th, 2011 at midnight PST.
There is no restriction to the number of entries, so feel free to enter as many pictures as you like! I will announce the winner on Saturday, June 18th, 2011.
This week’s winner will receive a $100 iTunes gift card!

@Bob Rasmus are you using the iOS 5 beta? Wait untill the lightbox icon show the preview for the last shot foto before using the app.

Will there be another contest soon? I love the app!
I had heard people talking about the app, but never used it. Recently I saw it was on sale and got it. WOW! What a surprise. There are so many functions and additions to the native iphone photograpy app Camera+ exclusively now.

I love this app and use daily. The only disappointment is that it crashes every time I push the buy button on the fx effects page. I use a 3GS iPhone (iOS 5), have restarted the phone, and have cleared up plenty of memory. Any fix?
