We had so many amazing entries using our new awesome Camera+ feature, Clarity, in this week’s Mostly Lisa Photo contest that it was difficult to pick one winning image. I was amazed at how you used Clarity to enhance the details in your photos and make them look awesome! Your photos showed your passion for taking great photos, and I really enjoyed looking through all your entries! Thank you for taking the time to share them!

These are absolutely stunning pictures and the Camera+ application looks amazing. I’ve been getting a bunch of requests for photo app recommendations, so I need to test this out and encourage others to use it … with a link to this post. I think it would be interesting to have these people send you the originals as a before and after. Probably an incredibly dramatic set of examples.
The other thing: will you expand to other mobile platforms (Android, Windows, etc)? I realize that you’ve been focused on iPhone, but this is clearly a huge play in the other spaces too.

I’m feeling really sheepish that I didn’t know there was a clarity contest.
Still, the photos are freaking amazing and the clarity filter is so impressive.
Every iPhone shot of mine, I have to say, “I wonder how clarity will treat this one.” I’ve been collecting some really impressive results and plan to share on my blog very very soon.

I’m a big fan of the Camera+ app, which has dominated the iPhone photos that I’ve been snapping lately for my mobile phone blog.
As for clarity, it is good in some cases, but causes some undesirable effects too often to rely on.
