What do we need to do? – Just retweet, retweet, and retweet again? haha.

Tweeted and Dugg!
Congrats on release. I just deleted my previous convertor 2 days ago and gave up on finding a good one. I definitely like Convert, especially the refresh button on the currencies!

sorry guys,
it’s a shame that you have spent so much time to create … a … converter app. that’s embarrassing.
i’m kicking your rss feed from my reader.

I was reading the rules trying to figure out if multiple tweets increased the chances of winning – is this intentionally left to the imagination?
Also trying to figure out what this sentence in the official rules means:
“The entrant’s Twitter updates must not be protected during the promotion period.”
Any help?

Hey rdmdfish, there is an option in account settings on twitter called “Protect my tweets.” If you check the box then only people you approve can follow your tweets and they don’t show up in the public timeline.
In order to participate in the tweetblast you can’t have that option enabled for two reasons. First, it would limit the effectiveness of the the tweetblast which is to promote Convert by having lots of people see tweets about it. More importantly though, if your tweets don’t show up in the public timeline then tap tap tap has no way of seeing that you have participated in the tweetblast and entering you in the contest.
Entries are most likely registered automatically by tap tap tap by searching the public timeline for tweets posted by people currently following taptaptap that have the hashtag #winMBP and then verifying that the full text of the tweet matches the tweetblast text.

only displays a blank / white page w/ the page title “It’s the Convert TweetBlast: win a $5,999 Stealth MacBook Pro!”. Safari’s Activity window shows “bad server response”.
Please fix so I can blast a tweet.
Thanks!

All summer I struggled with having to go back and forth on my computer screen to convert pixels to inches, inches to pixels. taptaptap Convert will change how I work and save me time with web design and many other projects! on top of that is the sweet tweetblast giveaway. Keeping my fingers crossed since my laptop died. I will blog this! Thank you.

Hi there,
Just a suggestion for a missing function (not really a bug fix): we really need to have a minutes-seconds conversion in the “Time” category… I miss this function
Please, fix that as soon as you can ^^
Thanks for the great app!

Preference panel is required to add currencies not listed and to remove currencies not used. Glaring hole as several currencies are missing: Egyptian Pound is one example.

Great job on the app. Intuitive, easy to use.
I agree that a way to add custom types to all of the categories would be grand.
On length I would love to see rods, chain, furlong, and other of the old English units. Similar for area.
And on speed I would love to see my all time favorite most useless unit, furlongs/fortnight.
