The newest version of Camera+ offers some powerful tools to take great shots with your iPhone. I’ve seen some breathtaking shots from budding iPhoneographers through our weekly photo contests.

In this video tutorial, I demo some creative ways you can use our new Camera features, Touch Focus and Touch Exposure, to take your iPhone photos to a whole new level. I can’t wait to see your photos!

Here are some of the pics from the shoot:

You have some really cool shots here! I see that you were not using the anti-shake feature. What’s your secret for keeping the camera so still?

Still no exposure control on iPhone 3GS :( .

@Moira: The 3Gs has exposure controls if you are running iOS 4 — It’s not possible to set a custom exposure on the camera at all prior to iOS 4

@Dann: iOS doesn’t currently support saving photos to the camera roll with geo-location or EXIF data — We’ll have an update ready to go with support for those features as soon as Apple let’s us (and rumor has it they’ll be coming to iOS soon)

I love Camera+ – the best photo’s I have taken with a phone, EVER. Just one thing, when downloading to my PC, the images are not recognized – they appear as a square box with a cross in it. Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

I love Camera+ too! I love the extra feature(s?) for 1.2.1 as it doesn’t confuse me in the least. I do wish the EXIF data were preserved however. Is there really no solution for that until the app is back in the official store with an update? I might jb to preserve the features I now enjoy and continue to get updates but I’m searching for a place where I’ll get all the info about these issues when updates are ready.

This is my favorite app. One problem. How come this does not record or keep the gps location?

    I recently purchased camera+
    2.2.2. Cannot access camera
    Roll. Please advise.
Also auto focus does not stay
on screen long enoughU to use.
    Thank you,
    Rudy Brandi
