Voices

We recently announced that we were looking for beta testers for an upcoming app. After a ridiculously overwhelming response to that post, we’re happy to say that the app has finally hit the App Store.

http://www.taptaptap.com/voices

Voices is a fun app that lets you change your voice into several different sounds. Grab it now for a limited time at the introductory price of just 99¢.

Voices was developed in conjunction with Taptivate (be sure to show them some Twitter love). The team at Taptivate created the bulk of the app and we collaborated with them on a lot of the polish toward the end. We brought in David Lanham to put his magical touch on a lot of the graphics in the app, especially with all the great character icons.

Be sure to check out the Voices promo video by MostlyLisa and screencast by HiLo Media.

As with the launch of Voices, we wanted to have a big splash and to do so we’re giving away free copies of the Mac app, Voice Candy!

TweetBlast

We had a blast working with Taptivate to bring you Voices. We hope you all have a lot of fun with it.

Also, it’s worth pointing out that we’re recently undergone a bit of a company restructuring. I’ll be detailing it all in a post soon, so keep an eye out for that and a new About page

Did you intend to link to the author of the video? Wouldn’t it make more sense to link to the video?

Doh! Sorry – followed the steps through and got the D/L, but a clearer explanation on the http://www.macheist.com/tweetblast/ page might be a good idea…
Thanks for the freebie – now I wanna iPhone even more!

Great work on the app guys! I’ve had Voice Candy on iPhone for a while, and was waiting for something similar to come out for iPhone… and it finally has! Loving it. The voice transformations take a little long though.

I had trouble with Step 1 on the TweetBlast site.. I have a twitter account too… it wasn’t taking my twitter account name.. then I tried MY name and it worked.. maybe if they don’t match you have to use your personal name?

Now I am having trouble on Step 2…

“Sorry, you must be following tap tap tap on Twitter. Please make sure you’re doing so by visiting our Twitter account and clicking the “Follow” button at the top.”

But I did that.. I AM following taptaptap… now what? :( I’ve tried reloading the page and tried relogging in but no luck….

I can’t seem to find the download. There are just too many confusing steps to get to the free download. I will truly have earned the Voices. Why did you make it sooooooo-oooooo complicated?

For what ever reason the website can not find my twitter account. I left a message on the twitter account that doesn’t exist.

This should be something cool to waste time on when I’m bored. I’m definitely game.

For those who are having problems with tweetblast not recognizing your name on twitter, make sure that the “Protect my tweets” in your twitter setting page is NOT checked. I had this problem until I uncheck it and not everything worked.
