Good news. But now you should work a bit about app speed. Lately is so slow to start on my (old) 3GS that I switched back using default camera and use Cam+ only for editing.

That’s great! Congrats!
But I can’t really understand the rules Apple want developers to follow; yesterday I got an update on Camera Genius stating they where to remove volume shot… How come?
I really wish you guys could explain for us end users!?

I suppose Volumesnap only works with iOS5, right? I can’t get it to work on iOS4.

Who really cares about volume snap with the poor customer service of taptaptap?
John, did you see my comment on your previous blog post (near the end) about Michael Lary and his poor attitude?

Damn. I hoped volumn snap was back for iOS 4. To bad. once there is a jailbreak for iOS 5. And I can upgrade I will put Camera+ back as my default photo app. In the mean time. Have you considered making Camera+ compatible with some tweaks from Cydia that will let you use the volume buttons to take pics? I use Fast Snap or Snap Tap.

Great! But how humiliating will it be when Apple asks you to remove it for the 2nd time?! They asked Camera Genius to remove it, why wouldn’t you be next? I wanna know why Apple’s approving it in the first place then.
By the way- please put sliders on your Scene filters. Video might be nice too.

Great to see this feature … but I get multiple images captured each time I press volume up (in normal mode). Maybe if you jab the button it will only take a single shot. This isn’t a problem with the built-in Camera app. Phone is 4S.

Doesn’t state that this is for iOS 5 only. I purchased for this feature on iOS 4.3.3 and want a refund.

@Ms: you want a refund because you can’t take a picture with the volume button…? Have you tried the app at all? Have you taken the time to see the value this app brings for that tiny miniscule amount of money…? Why just your money back? Go for a lawsuit! Bring down the house!
*sigh*

WHY WONT YOU GIVE US VOLUME SNAP ON IOS 4? most of the pictures i take with my iPhone are in landscape mode and i need volume snap to take them easily but this is the only app which has all of the editing features.im on iOS 4 so this update was useless to me,
atleast find a way to enable it on iOS 4(like the hack that was we could use before)BECUASE I NEED THIS REALLY BADLY

@Bondt: I can edit on the fly for free with other apps for iOS or use a free desktop tool. I don’t want to install iOS 5 until it proves to have fewer bugs. I installed it and it makes my phone hang multiple times a day, requiring a hard reset. Apps like this shouldn’t be version or feature locked when there is no other known difference in the app versions.

Updated, the app did not work anymore. Had to uninstall and install again, erased the photos in my photobox. Then Volumesnap does not work on 4.3.3, even though the description says it requires Ios 4 and up. All this trouble and I only lost my pictures.
Thanks.

So far, no response from the tappity tip tap team as to why they announced volume snap is back, and after updating to the new Camera+ software on 2 iphone 4′s and one iPhone 4S, still no volume snap, nor any guidance on the www on how to initiate it on the iPhone. Does ANYBODY read this blog???

make sure your version is 2.4.
better yet, delete from itune, iphone and do a fresh download.
that should fix it.
anyone has the optimized function (in quality) works?
Mine work once or twice but not now.

Great. Now if only you could add sliders to the scene modes (as also suggested somewhere above), then I’d have nothing to bitch about anymore
… especially Clarity often -way- overdoes it.
